Review in "Gitarre & Bass", Issue 11 / 2007 (Excerpts)
This amp is so absolutely noiseless, that you start to be astonished already at this point.
The first chords revealed a lush, fat British crunch-tone, which was already dangerously close to the 1965 original standing nearby for comparison.
... the sound of the amp was so close to the original, you could hardly tell which is which. This conclusion made me damned thoughtful. No MOJAVE, no BLOCKHEAD, no METRO did achieve this so far. A direct A / B comparison of both test-partners would have stood any blind test.
The sound of the amp was, in all disciplines and with all guitars, of a quality, that this amp could have been placed in my boutique amp series. Above all, the good workmanship, the carefully selected components and the absolutely convincing output transformer are responsible for that fact.
You get an excellent sound for a bargain price.
Not necessary to come to my workshop to have this amp tuned. I hardly have any idea what to improve to make this amp substantially better.
